Mythology of Red Bull, a Side Hustle Arms Race, and the Rise of Solo Capitalists

Happy Sunday! Welcome back to our fourth Sunday Brunch newsletter - a concise curation of my favorite tidbits from the week.
Without further delay, grab your coffee, mimosa, water, juice, bloody mary, chocolate milk, protein shake, or whatever else the Brunchers are drinking these days and enjoy this week's issue.
Cheers Everyone.
The Mythology of Red Bull - I was once asked 'what is the best company you have ever worked at?' The 'best' is hard to pin down, but the coolest is immediately obvious - Red Bull. But how did Red Bull become the global phenomenon we know today? The Generalist explores the history of the company and traces their roots to the modern marketing marvel we know today.

The Side Hustle Arms Race - side hustling is a phrase that has snuck into our vernacular over the past few years. Advice and opinion are now freely available with articles, videos, books, and even courses offering insights on the subject. Anita explores this shifting dynamic and how it plays into modern society.

The Rise of the Solo Capitalists - a trend is developing in the early-stage fundraising world where 'rounds' - a common term for stages of fundraising - are supported and sometimes led by individuals. Currently, this is a dynamic playing out in venture capital, but I'm curious if it moves up market to later-stage investment strategies.

That's it for this week, everyone.
